Reverend Mark Roscoe (Pastor Mark)

Pastor Mark began serving Bethel Church in July of 2018. He has served several churches in the Richmond, Virginia area after being appointed by the bishop and cabinet of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. The appointments have ranged from churches of just a few dozen members, to one of the largest churches in Richmond with an active membership over two-thousand. Dedicated to serving each of those churches, Pastor Mark has lead numerous small groups and Bible studies, delivered vibrant and uplifting Sunday morning messages, organized volunteers in millions of dollars of mission activities, provided spiritual care and comfort through loving pastoral care, and guided each church in its vision and mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Pastor Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry and a Master’s degree in Divinity and Theology. Pastor Mark is a life-long learner, continuing his education through professional development seminars, academic courses, and applicable reading. He has served as a youth pastor, hospital chaplain, local church pastor, and mission director.

Pastor Mark lives with his family in King William, Virginia where he enjoys gardening, reading, martial arts, and spending time with his wife and two kids.
